Great news for owners of 1999 and newer Volvos!

 

Berkeley Bobs is one of the few Bay Area independent repair facilities to have acquired the VIDA system from Volvo of North America. VIDA stands for “(Volvo) Vehicle Information Diagnostics for Aftersales” and due to its high cost this system has previously only been available to dealerships.

 

In order to continue meeting our customer needs we purchased this equipment. VIDA is required to fully diagnose and properly repair and service 1999 and later models. This tool allows us to download software updates, reprogram keys, locks and other vehicle specific parts in addition to running diagnostics on all systems of your car.  We are also able to use this tool to research manufacturer recalls, technical service bulletins and other information important to you and your Volvo.
