Honest, fast, reliable, affordable. I couldn’t ask for more.

Excellent service at a great price!

Had a great experience taking my 2016 Prius in at Berkeley Bob's. I originally brought the car in for catalytic converter protection, but my car already had a shield installed. However when they did an inspection, they found that rodents had chewed through some of my fuel injector wiring and they were able to quickly replace the wiring and cover it with rodent-proof tape at a reasonable price. I had taken my car into Toyota for inspection recently and that shop did not find the wiring issues - Berkeley Bob's was much more thorough.

Really appreciate the team at Berkeley Bob's. I've been going there for a few years now. Sometimes I have something specific, and sometimes there is a weird noise or behavior that takes investigating. I find them to be helpful and honest. The thing I most appreciate is their lack of defensiveness if something goes wrong (turns out it wasn't fully fixed, or there is an oily fingerprint), they have me bring the car right back and they make it right.

I’ve never found a more thorough, helpful, and professional shop than Berkeley Bob’s. I live in Sacramento but still prefer to take my Jetta here. They are the best!

Always feels good to have them check over my car. I know when I leave I can drive with confidence things are safe. And a big thank you to them for fixing the skrew in my tire after they closed! A great team of people keeping me safe

They seem to do things very well with cars and have excellent communication (though I probably can't afford to go here anymore). However the propaganda in their office against the El Cerrito Library Tax is not accurate: rental rates in the bay area are not directly tied to landlord costs. They are far above costs to the landlord and stay high due to the high demand for housing and low supply, as I understand it. Since they are decoupled from landlord costs, a landlord can't just raise the price of rent due to an increased cost they incur because if they raise costs above the market rate, renters will pick another spot. It's essentially a fallacious trickle-down argument, commonly used to oppose taxes to large property owners but appear to be advocating for the common people.

Berkeley Bob's has been taking very good car of my cars for many years. Sean and the gang have always been helpful
