Volkswagen announced that it will sell its new electric crossover – ID Crozz – in the United States staring in 2020.
ID Crozz is a mid-sized crossover about the size of 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan. The range is touted to be about 300 miles, not too shabby! It’s also supposed to be capable of an 80% capacity charge in just 30 minutes using a 150-kilowatt CCS fast charging. Not much else is known about the car at this time. We will keep you informed of future developments.
Volkswagen has really jumped into the electric car market with its ID.3 (we blogged about it couple of months ago), now with their ID Crozz compact crossover and its plans to have production capacity of over 20 million electric cars per year by 2028.
